Joe Qi is working towards his Phd in Materials Science in University of Rochester. He is working on the fabrication, development and fundamental research of the porous nanocrystalline Si membranes. He mainly focuses on the pore formation investigation and transferring the pore formation to other material systems. Currently he moved to Vanderbilt University as a none-degreee graduate student to continue his research and hopefully defends his Phd back in Rochester in 2014.
